Abia State Polytechnic is located along aba owerri road besides GT bank in aba, abia state. Students from all works of life often come to acquire basic knowledge and diploma qualifications in various departments. The Polytechnic is known to represent the elephant and students are referred to as the 'great elephants'. They offer varieties of interesting courses and known for quality education standard, sizeable lecture rooms and halls and majestic admin building. Others include a well to do football field, gym facilities, music departments, eatry and hospitality.
During the holidays, the polytechnic is usually deserted and unkept. The beauty of the school is it's students

Abia State Polytechnic is a lovely polytechnic situated at the heart beat of Aba. I love Biology/Microbiolgy department in that school. God bless all the lecturers of Abia Poly.
