It is nice that we have a zoo in Benin City. Came all the way from Ekpoma to Benin with friends that day just to visit the zoo and we were not dissappointed. There are various species of animals to see such as monkeys, birds, snakes, crocodiles, lion, horses, camel, etc. Some of the things we enjoyed most are the horse and camel ride, the experience would have been incomplete without them. What I didn't really like is that the lion is located at a distant place from the visitors when we visited, so we did not get a good view of it. Also, more animals need to be introduced to the zoo such as giraffe, elephant, zebra, etc.
It was great .....nature at its best...but few animals to see ...but it was still fun for my kids ....as other side attractions have been added to the zoo for kids fun
Satisfactory, it's good for small get together party, there are few wife life animal.
I visited the zoo with my niece two days after the new year. The place was packed full with lots of games and side attractions for children. We had fun on the unicorn ride and the merry-go-round train. My only concern was that it was largely non-COVID19 compliant as guests were not made to wear facemask or sanitize their hands before entry. It was devoid of its usual peace and quiet before the festivities. I will visit again.
A great place for recreation and group outings
It was nice to visit Ogba Zoo. My kids and i had the best fun. The lions were the main attraction and they did not disappoint. We enjoyed the ostriches, monkeys, birds and other creatures. Fun times! A nice picnic area and kid's play area was also nicely placed.
It's a good recreation centre, a nice place to cool off
