Holy Ghost Cathedral is the HQ of all Catholic churches in Enugu. It has one of the biggest land areas. Asides the church there is a grotto with the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary where people go to pray. There is also a chapel. The administrative block where the church offices are located is also in the compound. There's a well built resturant, an event hall for conferences, seminars and wedding parties. Then there is a guest house for visiting priests and Reverend sisters and any other church member who wishes to stay. The Catholic Bishop of Enugu State celebrates mass at the cathedral and has his office there as well. Beside the cathedral is the Catholic owned specialist hospital, Mother of Christ Hospital, an orphanage home and a Nursery school all owned by the Catholic church.
Its a very serene and accommodating place
A lovely place of worship for the catholic faithfuls, built in 1962. Holy ghost cathedral is located along market road, ogui Enugu.
