The station (NBS) is a two-in-one bradcast outfit (Radio and Television) and operated on a 2 kilowatts (Itelco Product) Transmitter suppplied by Kris Onye Kwuluje of Lagos and Initially tuned to FM 93.5. This frequency was later changed to 97.1 by the National Broadcasting Service (NBC) in the month of november, 1997 owing to the fact that the earlier frequency had been allocated to HOT FM in Abuja. The NBS Radio Station (97.1) has two studios (Recording and Transmitting) and is covered by Broadcasting Operators License No. 0014 of 5th December, 1997, while the Television arm also with 2 (two) studios (Recording and Transmitting) on UHF 23 at Lafia nad UHF 40 in Keffi has license No. 0027 and 0028 respectively.
