ACANigeria aims to represent Architectural practices registered with the Architectural Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON), and intends to further the advancement of Architecture and its practice in a number of ways which includes the following: Publish a directory on its website and in hard copy, listing membership practices; Research on behalf of its members such vital issues related to the practice of Architects in Nigeria; Organize conferences and seminars for members and non-members; Augment the efforts of the Nigerian Institute of Architects, Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) and other related professional bodies thus ensuring that the voice of the Architects in private practice is heard; Comment on and contribute to policies and discuss issues of importance to its members with Government and other national bodies.
