My review so far as been intriguing because this course has really opened my eyes to the knowledge of acting in a different dimension.That acting is an art, a fine art. I realized acting is not just turning a dialogue into line readings but relating to the other actors. Also the history of acting is a great insight on how it all started and has helped my foundational level. It is really a great opportunity for me to acquire all that i can as we continue the course.Thank you.
Working with DCA is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The warm laughs in the hallway from myriads of students dancing and speaking amongst themselves from "Papa John's class" about Meisner this, Meisner that; silent film this and the third or them coming to stop by your table to say "Well done miss" The lecturers, their hearts- how profoundly they pour their messages to the students. All of these and more, the Academy founder Dr. Linus - how much he impacts his students- the vendors, the staff, everyone- Del- York Creative Academy is just the place the place to be! Truth is, for a fraction of what it costs to get schooling abroad, fly into Lagos and you'd be glad you did. OMG! I forgot to mention the Graduation ceremony!!! my heart was full- My eyes wondering if someone was peeling onions. Just TOO CUTE!!
Firstly, the online programs are affordable which is very important during this pandemic with alot of people facing financial difficulties. The administrators are very understanding and make an effort to give helpful tips to the students whenever its required. Del-York Creative Academy is a great team! I am so happy to be part of them, and I hope to remain part of the team for a long time.
Delyork Acting course is another creative discovery for me. Just the first few classes and I see acting differently. To know there’s such a rich history behind this Art is mind blowing. As a two time Alumni of this prestigious institution, I am not in any doubt of what this training will do for and to me as an Actor/Director. Every film Director needs this course. Actors are the most visible production element that the entire film team works with, hence it is important to understand their Art and Craft. I acted as a child and now I am super excited to go back as an adult with all I will be equipped with, in this training. Delyork is the BEST!!
