PASTOR (MRS) RISI EGBEBALAHAMEN OGUNBOR is a quintessential and an admirable woman of God. A true lover of God, a philanthropist, an entrepreneur per excellence, a dutiful and loving wife a caring mother, doting grandma and soon to become a literary icon. She was the first person to be converted in her family where now, all her siblings are either Pastors, married to Pastors or professing Jesus as Lord!! Her father was a successful business man who believed in education and hard work while her mother was a trader. She attended Victory Home School (a Private Primary School in Ibadan), and Anglican Girls’ Grammar School in Benin City. She proceeded to the University of Ife and graduated with a B.A. (Hons) in English in 1977. She later did her NYSC in the Lagos State Ministry of Establishment in 1978. She got married to DR. ANTHONY OGUNBOR, on the 18th of April 1981, and they are blessed with four children and seven grandchildren. She is an alumnus of several institutions namely University of Ife, University of Lagos (PGDE), Redeem International Leadership Academy (RILA), Faith Christian Theological Seminary, Otta, Center for Management Studies, Lagos and Lagos Business School. She worked with the Edo State Ministry of Education for about two years before she got married in 1981 and had to obtain a transfer to Federal Government College, Kano to join her husband in Lagos in December 1989. The entrepreneurial trait in her DNA emerged when she observed a need for a grocery store in Ogudu and she immediately keyed into it by starting her retail shops as a “kiosk” which has grown into a superstore with three branches in Lagos. She is a fully ordained Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and a pioneer member of the House of David Parish in Ogudu. She is a lover of God and people, and has served diligently in The Youth Church, The Teen Church, The Kingdom Women’s Fellowship, The Marriage Counselling Department and The Welfare Department.
