Kayak Owerri is a new location where Owerri Boat Club members paddle their kayaks as part of recreation sports. This is the first Kayak & boat club in Eastern heartland. There are a few Kayaks at the moment. A trainer is here to help newbies and also gives brief history and geography of the Otamiri river near Nekede and New Owerri. It's an interesting place and the first Kayak spot I have seen in Imo. This is a good way to unwind and experience #tourism in Imo State.
