Contrary to the literal meaning of the name, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library isn't just a library, it's a mini city. It is located just opposite the Federal SARS Office, Magbon via Oke Mosan Abeokuta. It is an ultramodern city and a tourists' centre with a 5 star hotel, amusement park, a widelife park, cinema and several other side attractions. Roasted meat (suya), asun, barbecue, roasted fish, pepper soups of every type are some of the items available under the bamboo (a popular hangouts spot) with exotic drinks including palm wine. The Obasanjo Library boasts Of 15 million documents, two million books and 4,000 Artifacts, some of which feature essential events in the Nigerian history and modern African history. Modeled and tailored with President Franklin Roosevelt of America's vision of Presidential Libraries who gave his official documents for national use. The Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library is an entire self sustaining beautiful empire that depicts the legacy of the former President. It houses some of the most beautiful art works in the country. The museum is a spectacular collection of historical pieces associated with the former President. The bamboo outdoor restaurant is an amazing combination of nature and glamour. Lastly, the Cinema is unlike any other in the south west.

OOPL as popularly called is owned by the former President of Nigeria, Chief Aremu Mathew Olusegun Obasanjo. Full of different galleries, from Arts, Books, artifacts and so on. It's a nice place to visit!
