Nice forest but it’s horrible to see that Nigerians throw their rubbish everywhere. Nigeria needs to educate its people about waste disposal and implement something to manage waste. Apart from that there is also the waterfall which is a 10 min walk from the forest. You see many fruit trees and crops on the way, which is cool but again there is too much waste being thrown into this beautiful natural area.

I've known about Ngwo Pine Forest for years and always looked forward to visiting. So while in town on an assignment, my colleagues and I decided to go there. Being there reminded me of a similar umbrella of tall trees at the Jos Wildlife Park (Plateau State). It stretches for as far as the eyes can see, but there is visible evidence of deforestation -- I hope government takes steps to stop that. It would be a terrible loss if all the trees are felled. Being dry season, the forest wasn't as green as I had expected but it was refreshing all the same. An indigene who was with us it's a venue for birthdays and picnics and photo shoots.

A very beautiful natural place to go for picnics, photo shoots, relaxation etc But one thing I don’t like is how poorly the government and villagers are handling there. Some people cut the pine trees, dump garbages there, set fire there which has destroyed some trees. Please if you want to go there respect nature please stop destroying what God has blessed us with

Ngwo pine forest in Enugu ,Nigeria .it is located along Enugu/onitsha road, maternity bus stop precisely Ngwo Asaa area.you can't miss it because there is neither gate nor fence around it which makes it open to anyone willing to tour the forest ,it has a waterfall which will take about 20mins hike before sighting,it is picnic friendly and forms a beautiful coverage . Tour guide ? I didn't see any but that wasn't the case of my friends that visited before me so I'm guessing it was because I went there at the early hour of the day .

I love it here, this place ought to be made more recreational, and well taken care of. Had to pay these guy #1000 to take me down the hill. I really don’t know what the money was for because I wasn’t given a receipt. But the sight is amazing. Descending the hill was crazy almost collapsed. Enugu state government ought to invest here and make here a tourist attraction center. I would love to come again.

Exciting and different. Takes work to get to the waterfall though. Will definitely be returning.

The forest used to be so beautiful with a thick canopy, now half the tree population has been felled by locals who are gradually converting the land to crop land Something has to be done quickly by the Min of Forestry to save that place.
