Very serene and aesthetically pleasing. Such a space for the advancement of intellect is a rarity. Kudos. I'll be going back.

A nice and serene environment, lovely place to read. The PHLS open mic event is a place one needs to be, you'd feel at home, you'd have fun and also be educated from the different art performances.

I had no idea this gem existed in Port Harcourt! This place needs more hype really. Awesome place!!! Next time I'm bringing my children! It has a children and an adult oriented book section. Rooms are cool and spacious. Area is quiet and suited for reading.

When you finally find your way to this establishment you'll enjoy the sound architecture, the ambiance including that of their neighbour the Python golf course, the inside is quite modern, the ground floor has a section for children, you can tell it was a deliberate part of their plan, short shelves for the little tykes with a lot of colourful children books The first floor is for adults, very quiet, provision for plugging and using laptops. Even when there's no light there's enough natural light There's a canteen in the compound There are some paid programmes for kids for this summer Demerits There's an unfinished building in the compound, the elevator is out of order, they are under staffed (the little patronage balances that out). There's only one road to the library by car, you have to drive a long stretch of road and turn under a bridge and back the same long distance t get to the library across the road, there are no sign boards after the one you'll see on the road, meanwhile their next door neighbour is drowning in signs

Nice place to build the reading culture in kids. Adults too can read and work in the quiet environment. Nice one.
