This place was named after a great Yoruba icon and leader of opposition party in the first Republic, late Obafemi Awolowo Recreational Center. The center housed Ikenne Multi purpose hall, a football field, parking space and well fence with adorable gates. The center is been managed by Ikenne Development Association (I.D.A) and also serve as the association secretariat.
