The farm has always been there .Growing up in the village in those days afforded us opportunities to witness farming and trading activities generally .As children we gave helping hands in getting things done on the farms and assisted in taking some of these farm produceto the market. We started by growing yam, rice and cassava on the farm and most of the times these are sold within the community and a lot of it are given to family members and friends in the city. This gesture was quite appreciated especially by friends in the cities. This continued until sometimes in 1994 when we began to put some modernization into it by hiring tractors to work on the farm, the result at the end of the day was not encouraging as we were not available to personally monitor and ensure things are done our way.In 1999 we started spending annual vacations at farm to enable us do more. This resulted into more harvest and had produce to sell to friends and associates. This became increasingly more attractive than paid employment and we started spending more time and resources on the project as we discovered that produce from this region of the country has premium quality distinct from others, as well as the pressure to deliver more from those that have used our produce. A company known as Eleojo Foods was eventually registered in April 2012 to enable us focuses more on the business having left the paid job we have always had. Our main focus is on cassava , rice and Bee Honey. Our Rice farm is situated at Adumu and our integrated farm is at Odolu all in Kogi state
