Fitness Central is a new chain of health clubs which launched in Lagos, Nigeria in February 2015. It was built on the idea that everyone needs to exercise and therefore the barriers to do so that exist in Nigeria (and West Africa more widely) should be removed. We believe in the power of exercise as a tool to enhance the human experience, and also believe that the conversation on exercise is not just restricted to the gym, but extends into the kitchen, into our minds, into our culture; it is a conversation on how we chose to live. Fitness Central is not just a gym. It is a movement.
