A great hub and melting pot of all kinds of foodstuffs from all over the country and even sub-region. It is spread over such a vast chunk of real estate that one would nearly certainly be exhausted by the time a small part of the market has been covered. A teeming crowd of sellers and buyers is a constant (bad for the current season, Healthwise). The market is a great lesson in everything commerce.....

A market where you have all the cooking ingredients. Name it they have it all at a cheaper rate but the environment is not too good to go cause most places a flood prone areas. But it's a great food market in Lagos Nigeria. Nice place to find food items but it's a rough place too.
A very big market, where you can get fresh foods.
The service road by the market is being constructed so Google map shouldn't take drivers there. To get out to the express lane is a horror
Food items are gotten for the best prices and good quality too. But be smart!!!
Arguably the largest food market in Southwestern Nigeria with the proper backing of the Lagos state government. In here, you'll find tomatoes, yams, vegetables and even seeds at unbelievably cheap rates. If you want to go proper into food business, I think you need a visit to Mile 12 market.
One of the busiest food and fruit market in Lagos. If there is any food or fruit item you are searching for in Lagos, find your way to this market. It houses a lot of Nigeria Northerners (Hausa and Fulanis), the fruit and raw food are very fresh, extremely affordable and sellers are also much friendly. There is a healthy competition among the sellers resulting into a good market bargaining for buyers. However, buyers needs to be extremely careful when purchasing, they must be wary of some bad merchants who have the aim of cheating unsuspected buyers by packing rotten food items underneath basket and loading the front part with eye catchy ones. As much as there is a good competition, buyers must negotiate prices very well because sometimes, sellers inflate prices unnecessarily. Also be wary of alabaru (load carriers) as they can make away with your goods, keep an eye on them always. Happy buying
The most important food market of Lagos where you can get almost anything food. Very good for bulk purchases but many retails/small sellers abound around the market.
