There is always A queue here, one has to go early. But their services are ok. There is no accessible entrance at the office. any disabled fellow going there should need assistance accessing the offices. Here one can get his or her National Identification Number, which can be used for any national identification purpose.
The place is located on right or left side of Aba road close to killimanjaro and opposite Nddc. The place is unbefitting of a government office. As usual the personnel are not well organised. Not enough chairs and some chairs are broken. The walls are old and fading. It seems like some personnel help people skip the lines/queues because they know them in an unknown way.It took me between 2 to 3 hrs to get everything done. Some people were told to come the next day. Try and do the pre enrollment online before going. Things will be much easier for you. You can do it yourself in a browsing center. Be nice and follow instructions,if you want to finish the process and leave on time.
The corruption is everywhere! If you are not ready to bribe the government workers from the point of filling the form to capturing to printing out the temporary slip, then be ready to spend your whole day there. The experience is crazy and the behaviour of the staff is really strange...they ask for bribe like they are not on payroll.
The workers don't care about their job
