Their service there is the worst of them all. They will take forever before your passport will come out. Don't even try to register online by yourself because you are on your own.

I wasn't something well organized as per Nigeria settings but I was surprised today, I went to immigration office in Abeokuta and voila, I was attended to by well culture officers, the routine were organized, and they don't waste too much time. It's a really nice place to go for your international passport.

This is the passport office in Abeokuta. Got here on the 29/08/2018 about 11:30am. Looked more busy than my previous two occasions. Estimating about 250 people were already there. By the entrance of the building displayed were all the tariff of the various types of passports. To my amazement we are fleeced about ten thousand Naira per passport (see tariff attached). WHY this difference between the official tariff and the real cost of N10k, no one could explain. It is a shame, where does these illegal money go to EVERYDAY. How is the government fighting corruption? How much of this illegal money via the NIC goes un noticed by the entire NIC offices daily? Upon the over inflated illegal payment, it would take 2-3 days to get the passport. NIGERIA WHERE DO WE BEGIN AND WHAT ARE WE TEACHING OUR YOUTH? The waiting areas & offices are very dirty, PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THE TOILETS, VERY UNHYGIENIC. Best of luck when you go, hope your experience is better than mine.

The Nigerian immigration Service ogun state command is located along Presidential Boulavard Road, Oke Mosan. It is a very large complex housing the various units and departments of the passport office. It has a wheelchair accessible parking but the entrance will be a bit difficult for wheelchair accessible. There are cafeteria, restaurants and business centres within the complex.
