The federal university of Technology Akure is the best specialized university(Technology) in Nigeria. She was established 1982. Federal university of Technology commonly referred to as FUTA has different departments under the following faculties; school of science, school of earth and mineral science, school of computing, school of health and health Technology, school of engineering and engineering technology, school of agricultural Technology. FUTA has enough professors and lecturers taking different courses in all departments. FUTA motto is Technology with self reliance. In terms of infrastructure FUTA is one the most beautiful campus in Nigeria. Furthermore, FUTA is one of the institutions in Nigeria that produces the most employable graduate. I can assure that any product that comes out of FUTA are always the best. In conclusion, The federal university of Technology(FUTA) is the most peaceful institution in Nigeria.
The Federal University of Technology, Akure is a very big place. As in, you have to be ready to walk a distance if there are no public shuttle buses available. The University is very clean and serene. The bus fare is very cheap. And there are beautiful buildings and facilities that I think will facilitate learning at a high level. I think this is the biggest university so far that I have visited. More to come!
