Less traffic due to less number of students around because of the covid-19 preventive measures. Cool spots around to sit and chill

A world renowned university and citadel of learning. At 73 years old it dates back to the pre-independence era and that makes it a place worth considering. I was at the botanical garden and also at the zoo. I like its serene and remarkable structures and vicinity. It's very neat and well mapped out. Quite easy to get around.

It is well coordinated as the security men are very active in regulating Covid-19 measurement. The Heritage Park has been green again with her leavy trees that shade it from licking by the sun. That is to say, you can have fresh air relaxing, reading or holding your meeting without being disturbed by direct sunlight.

Must Watch

I was on tour to the university yesterday and I must say, UI (as the university is fondly called) must be one of the most eco-conscious universities (if not the most) in Nigeria. It was quite a big campus, so I couldn't get round every nook and cranny of the campus. Nonetheless, I was able to get to some interesting places in the school such as the worship centres (churches and mosque) which are of very interesting architectural designs, especially that of "The Chapel of the Resurrection" and the Mosque. I made a visit to the faculty of Arts and also to Faculty of Agriculture, a hotel and some of their staff quarters. The transport facility in place is not bad at all too. However, there are some part of the campus that are bushy which I think the management should not neglect, the area looks like a moat or ditch. All in all, it was quite an amazing experience.
